We are so pleased with our catering experience with Katna's Kitchen! In January, we ordered 7 party trays for a party in our home. The owner/manager was kind and very understanding as we placed our order somewhat last minute. They delivered everything (for a fee), and it was hot and ready to serve. The Kare Kare and Sisig were especially tasty - I had to make sure I set some aside for myself, before everyone packed up their leftovers to take home. We will definitely be returning for future catering needs!

Hands down the best Filipino food in the Bay Area, dare I say even better than home-made. All the food is cooked and kept in warmers, ready for you to choose from. My favorite was the kare-kare with a side of bagoong. The lechon kawali was also top notch. My only note would be that I wasn't a fan of the rice. Jasmine rice would be a better option. So maybe, just buy entrees and cook rice at home. I recommend taking your food to-go, as there isn't much inside seating. You can also do some shopping for Filipino snacks, apparel, and trinkets. I'll definitely be back!

My husband and I tried the Filipino tamales and they are very good! They are a Pampanga staple. My husband mentioned his grandmother used to make these as a child. He says it taste just like grandma's or Lola's!

Katna's is a gem! Located by Travis AFB and surrounded by other neighborhood restaurants/gyms/massagey businesses lol one stop shop over there. Even at the end of the night, Ate is still dishing out some delicious food items! Chicken afritada was tasty, but a bit sweet for me, also had some larger size proteins and very nice potatoes and veggies. I opted w/ garlic fried rice which we found flavorful but a bit on the chewy side but nonetheless tasty! Also ordered chicken adobo which came w/ potatoes which maybe Kapampangan style. I appreciated it but hubby was surprised lol The adobo itself had good taste, but we're used to a more vinegary base, shoyu adobo, but that being said chicken was tender. They loved the pork lumpia, tasted nice even w/o a dip and we had surprise banana turon Ate threw in! So nice and generous of her. Great and generous front house service! The shop had cute little snacks and hard-to-find items, like the DELIMONDO corn beef. Standard Filipino food prices and don't mind paying as food cost are always increasing esp in this economy. Love to support local businesses! I love my town!

I stopped by for menudo, a Filipino dish, to go- it's great with toast bread and was absolutely delicious. The owner, Ms. Agnes, is friendly and helpful. Within the store is compact sari-sari store, carrying an assortment of canned products, and various items from the Philippines.

Being a former military, I appreciate that this is so close to the Air Force base. How many times I wish I had Filipino food while I was at training. It's a small business with a few options for dining inside or outside. Not for larger groups. Friendly Filipino service. Snacks and souvenirs available for purchase. Lots of drink options. For a combination one item plate and a large order and a dessert plate totaled 35.96. Not bad if looking for pinoy eats.

Been here twice now. Loved it both times. Super friendly with great service, and the food was delicious. Went with the Sisig, Kaldereta, and Garlic Rice the first time and just an Ala carte order of Lechon the second time. Enjoyed all the items!

I have gone here when I am too lazy to cook and want some Filipino food. My favorite is tortang talong. I have also had their pinakbet. Let me tell you when I say I am picky about Filipino food. My husband went to get me lunch one day and they didn't have my favorite tortang talong, but they went above and beyond and cooked some up. Now that's customer service. I like supporting this local mom and pop restaurant. They serve delicious and fresh food to fill your belly. The lady who has served me many times is so sweet. I have to ask her name next time. Get your Filipino food fix and try this place out.

Food I ordered kare kare, pork skewers, pork sisig, adobo baboy, adobong manok, menudo and garlic rice. You have a choice of either 1 or 2 combination plate for $16 which is a pretty good price. The kare kare came with a side of guisadong shrimp paste which perfectly complimented it's flavor. The sisig was tasty. My husband liked the pork skewers but it wasn't my favorite. I didn't taste the rest of the food as I bought it for the awesome nurses at Travis. They did say it was good. Customer Service- Anna was serving me. She was friendly, helpful, patient and professional. she answered all my questions. I had a huge box of food and the owner helped me to my car without me asking for help. I also met the cook/chef, Anthony. He was friendly as well. I love the friendly atmosphere at this cozy restaurant. Ambiance- this is a hole in the wall restaurant located accross Travis AFB's hospital gate. It was a little on the warm side inside the restaurant but it was a hot summer day. Plenty of shared parking. I definitely recommend this place if you are craving for some home made Filipino food.

Just outside Travis AFB main entrance, this humble Filipino hole-in-the-wall store has a ton to offer! They have Filipino snacks, memorabilia/souvenirs, and awesome Filipino food! We had the Sinigang, Pinakbet, Adobong Pusit, Paksiw na Lechon, Chicken Adobo, and Pork Kilawin...and it didn't disappoint! The food was good and very delicious. My daughter is very particular when having her Sinigang and there are only a few places we go to outside of our home for Sinigang when we don't have it cooked at home, and this place was a thumbs up for her. On top of the regular Filipino dishes, they also have Filipino street food! We tried the Isaw and pork bituka and were pretty good too. The store owners are very friendly and helpful. We wil definitely be stopping by again next time we make a trip out to Travis.
